These two dogs were spotted by a passerby named Heather Rowe hanging out in a facility lot near the railroad and that had piles of woods in it and decided to send a video to the Hope For Paws organization. According to her, it was a Poodle and a Terrier mix, and naturally, the team of rescuers from Hope For Paws drove straight for the location where the two buddies had been seen last. When they arrived, it took them all of one minute to find the two dogs, and they both greeted their rescuers with warm enthusiasm.
This was good news because it meant that Eldad and Lisa wouldn’t have to chase them around the area to secure them, and what made it even better was that they happily accepted the cheeseburger that they had brought. One of the dogs looked a little alarmed when Lisa took out the leash that she was going to put around their necks, but relaxed when they saw that there was more food to be had. Soon enough, both dogs had been secured with a leash, and they had completely relaxed in the presence of their two rescuers, much to everyone’s delight.
Since the dogs had already been secured, both now wearing a leash on the neck, the rescuers thought it was safe to let them have the rest of the cheeseburger, and they stayed there for a few moments longer. One of the dogs had to be carried to the vehicle, but the other one was so excited to be going with them that she gladly walked with them on the way to the car. After receiving medical care and warm baths, both dogs looked like they had never been homeless at all, and so ready to start their new lives in their forever home.
Their rescuers named them Dill and Pickles.
