When it comes to dogs, there is nothing more loyal and caring than them. No matter what, your dog is always with you. If you are happy, your dog is there with you to add to your happiness; when you are sad, your dog does its best to bring you joy. There is not even a single thing in the world that can come up to the level of love a dog has stored in his heart.
A dog is a source of solace for not only humans but other animals as well. In 2003, a police officer came across a greyhound that had taken covers under a shed. Seeing the condition of the dog, it was evident that it had not eaten anything in days and was extremely malnourished. It was covered in dirt and showed visible signs of abuse.
This dog was taken to an animal sanctuary named Nuneaton and Warwickshire Wildlife Sanctuary, where it was taken care of and given its name, “Jasmine.” There, Jasmine changed the lives of all the animals around her.
She took the role of being a mother to every distressed animal that would arrive at the sanctuary. She would nurse animals round the clock, which in turn made the sanctuary heaven on earth for all the animals.
She mothered puppies, fawn, foxes, badger cubs, chicks, rabbits, and a deer over the years she spent at the sanctuary.
She passed away in 2011, and her death led to a massive round of donations in her name to the sanctuary from all over the world.
There is no doubt about the fact that Jasmine, who was a devastated dog at first, did not let her past, miserable life stand in the way of her caring and loving nature. She became a loving mother to all the other devastated animals and changed their lives for good.
